SALT LAKE CITY -- Hundreds of untested rape kits are at the Salt Lake County Police Department.
Now, those kits are going to be reviewed and that information will be available on the department’s website for the public to review.
Four detectives have been assigned to re-review all of the cases, look at the circumstances, the amount of evidence, victim statements and go through the facts to determine if the untested kits should be sent to the crime lab.
