SALT LAKE CITY -- A new facility coming to downtown Salt Lake City will be a sanctuary for cancer patients and their family members who must oversee their care.

Officials broke ground on the Hope Lodge Wednesday, which will make it the 32nd Hope Lodge in the country. These lodges provide no-cost housing for thousands of cancer patients and their caregivers who normally would have to commute daily to receive treatment.

FOX 13 News’ Dave Nemeth has the story.
