SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah Democrats and Republicans gathered for their respective state conventions Saturday, and both groups made decisions about their leadership and candidates for office.
See the video for details from each convention, as well as selected results regarding each party's nominations.
The conventions also mark the end of an era, as recent compromise legislation created an alternative path for candidates seeking to get on the primary election ballot. Candidates will soon be able to make it into the primary via the convention process or through a signature initiative, click here for the details.
