SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah – Officials stated the right lane of westbound I-180 near mile post 138 was temporarily closed Friday afternoon following a vehicle accident.
Officials with the Utah Department of Transportation tweeted at about 3:30 p.m. the crash was in Salt Lake County, east of Mountain Dell.
By about 5:00 p.m. the scene had been cleared and traffic was moving as normal.
Utah Highway Patrol officials said a semitrailer in the far right lane was moving slowly, and a truck came too close and sideswiped the semi. The truck rolled over. The drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
Traffic cameras near the scene showed that traffic had slowed down as a result, but the scene cleared up several hours later.
