Police seek public’s help in locating bank robbery suspect

TAYLORSVILLE — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of robbing a Taylorsville bank Monday afternoon.

Credit Union, 4645 S. 2700 West, reporting a robbery.

According to police a Polynesian woman entered the bank and presented a note to the teller. The note indicated the suspect wanted money and also threatened the clerk.

The teller complied.

The suspect fled the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say she did not display or threaten any weapons.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the woman.

The suspect has been described as 40-45 years old, 165 pounds and 5 feet and 5 inches tall.

The suspect was last seen wearing a grey hoodie style sweatshirt, white t-shirt, baseball hat, black basketball style shorts and grey shorts under the basketball shorts.
