OGDEN, Utah – A man accused of sexually exploiting multiple teen boys will be in court for a jury trial in May after he was indicted in The Second District Court in Ogden.

Charles Randall Redwen will go to trial on multiple charges, which include 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree felonies; one count of soliciting for sexual exploitation of a minor, a third-degree felony; three counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor, third-degree felonies; and one count of entice, solicit, seduce or lure a minor by internet or text, a class A misdemeanor.

Redwen was arrested last month after police were given permission to take over a Facebook account of a teen who had been communicating with Redwen. Messages between Redwen and the teen indicated the two had arranged to meet for oral sex, and Redwen had sent two pictures of his genitalia to the minor.

According to statement of probable cause, Redwen admitted to an officer in February that he had sent the messages and had received explicit photos from minors, or people he believed to be minors.

A jury trial is scheduled to begin May 7.
