SALT LAKE CITY – The Governor’s Office of Economic Development has a new website they hope will help make Utah more business friendly.

Business.utah.gov is targeted toward four groups: Utah businesses, out-of-state businesses, Utah citizens and Utah legislators.

Utah has been ranked in recent years among the best states in terms of economic climate. Business Marketing Director Michael O’Malley of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development said they want the new website to expand on that reputation.

“We want small businesses to become less small,” he said. “We want them to grow and information on how to start and grow your business is an important section of the website. It really helps entrepreneurs figure out the paperwork they have to do, what permits do they have to get, where can they get financing, where can they get consulting.”
