Murray man arrested after domestic dispute, standoff

MURRAY,  Utah — Police were involved in a standoff Sunday night and Monday morning when a man refused to come out of his Murray home after a violent domestic dispute.

Officers said they got a call about an armed domestic dispute near 1750 East and Vine Street around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect fired one shot, but not at police. The alleged shooter’s wife was inside the home, but she was able to get out safely.

Officers were able to arrest the suspect Monday morning.
