PROVO, Utah– The first time BYU faced Portland this season Tyler Haws scored 48 points in a triple-overtime loss to the Pilots.

There was no need for overtime in Saturday’s rematch, as BYU cruised to an 89-73 win in their regular season home finale.

Haws scored 15 points this time around and moved into seventh place on the Cougars’ career scoring list. But Matt Carlino was virtually unstoppable, matching his career high with 30 points and powering BYU to their 20th win of the season.

They finish the regular season next Saturday afternoon at San Diego.
