One lane on I-80 westbound near milepost 172 is closed Thursday afternoon due to a semitrailer crash.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers said around 9:15 a.m., a semitrailer carrying liquid petroleum gas failed to navigate a turn and tipped over on the its side in the median.
Troopers said the semitrailer was not damaged and there is no leak. Crews are on scene trying to upright the semitrailer and clear the scene.
One lane is closed on I-80 westbound, and both lanes will eventually be closed as crews move the semitrailer. There’s no estimate on when the scene will be clear, and traffic entering Utah from Wyoming on I-80 westbound should expect delays.
