Ogden woman allegedly embezzled about $500,000 from employer

OGDEN, Utah – An Ogden woman is accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employer.

Teri Ann Jarvis, 40, faces several felony counts of theft and forgery after she allegedly embezzled about $500,000 while working as a secretary at Positive Power.

Police officials said Jarvis embezzled the funds during the last five years using credit cards and forged checks. Jarvis is currently being held in the Weber County Jail on an $80,000 bond.
