SALT LAKE CITY -- As talks in Congress regarding immigration reform continue, fraudsters have been taking advantage of people by promising them things they can't actually deliver.

Jeanne Kent of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services came to the FOX 13 News studio Wednesday to discuss the scams, how to recognize them and the ways to avoid them.

Kent said scammers will also create fake websites that look like official ones, and she said the correct website for her agency is www.uscis.gov
