CEDAR CITY — The young horse rescued out of Enoch continues to improve, officials said Monday.

“Elsa,” the appaloosa filly, was found frozen to the ground earlier this month. Both she and her mother were starved and neglected by their owner.

The two horses were taken to Dust Devil Horse Sanctuary in Cedar City for recovery.

A Colorado rescue, Dream Catchers, lent a sling to the organization to help Elsa stand.

Dust Devil Horse Sanctuary posted a new video of the horse on its Facebook page.
