SALT LAKE CITY -- Screeches and screams are not part of the typical soundtrack of Christmas, but for the third year in a row, Castle of Chaos is putting on their “Chaos Christmas Charity.”

It’s a frightful night for a good cause, with proceeds and donations benefiting St. Anne’s Homeless Shelter.

Monique Moore is Castle of Chaos’ Operations Manager, and she said the event blends two holidays.

“I think it’s great for Halloween enthusiasts to come out and show their support.” She said. “They get the best of both worlds, Halloween and Christmas. I mean, who doesn’t like to have a two for one combo, right?”

The haunted house has more than 70 actors to put on the show, otherwise known as the Castle of Chaos family, and they’re happy to put on the show to help others in need.

“We’re one big happy family, and we wanted to show that our family cared about other families in the community,” Moore said.

The Castle of Chaos is open December 13th and 14th from 7:30 – 11:00p.m. Tickets are $20, or $13 with a donation. St. Anne’s can always use financial support, but they are also looking for lightly used winter clothing like coats, sweaters, socks and shoes. They tell FOX 13 News they are also looking for canned fruits and vegetables.
