SALT LAKE CITY – A group of Utahns with medical training are donating their time to help the people of Haiti.

Doctors and nurses with My Aid for Haiti and After Hours Medical have been treating people in need for nearly four years, and the groups set up clinics in towns where health care isn’t available.

Cindy Warner is the co-founder and director of My Aid for Haiti, and she said their efforts have grown since they first began.

“We went from two nurses who would travel to Haiti together and do as much medical care and education as we could, to now taking in teams of several doctors and nurses and nurse practitioners and PA’s, and we’re able to travel and actually do several clinics each trip.”
