SANDY, Utah – A man was killed after a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist in Sandy Sunday night.
Sgt. Jon Arnold of the Sandy Police Department said Craig Buchi, 58, was riding a bicycle southbound on 700 East near 8300 South when a minivan traveling northbound turned left into an apartment complex, and the bicycle struck the van.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Buchi was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The accident remains under investigation, and FOX 13 News will have more information as it becomes available.
