1 dead, 1 injured after car accident in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah — A vehicle crash in Ogden left one woman dead and another woman injured Sunday morning.

Officers said the accident happened at 30th Street and Adams Avenue in Ogden.

According to police, a 25-year-old woman drove her car through a stop sign at the intersection and hit a 22-year-old woman’s car. The 22-year-old died at the scene, and the 25-year-old was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers said it appears alcohol was a factor in the crash, but the accident is still under investigation.

No names have been released, and no citations have been issued as of Monday morning.
