WEST VALLEY CITY — West Valley Police made its sixth and final arrest Tuesday afternoon in connection with a drive-by shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead.
Saturday’s shooting was the result of a long-running gang rivalry, police said. Ricardo Padilla was the final suspect arrested in the crime.
West Valley police Sgt. Jason Hauer said six gang members were reportedly involved in Anthony Hernandez’s murder.
Armando Majano, 19, was arrested as the suspected shooter. Juan Cruz, Diego Monfeda, Alejandro Argumeda and Jose Salazar were also taken into custody.
