West Jordan road closed after water line break

WEST JORDAN, Utah – A water line broke along a West Jordan roadway, causing significant damage and backing up traffic.

The 10-inch line broke near 3200 West and 7550 South at around 4:30 p.m.

Water service for nearby residents was disrupted but was back up at around 8:30 p.m.

3200 West is closed from 7400 South to 7800 South, but is expected to reopen Friday. Traffic in the area is being diverted, and delays are expected.
