MA parents receive letters calling their children ‘obese’

Some parents in Massachusetts say they have received letters from the state’s Department of Public Health telling them that their children are obese, according to a report from the FOX affiliate in Boston.

The letters were sent after a state-sanctioned screening measured students’ height, weight and body fat percentage. One such letter was received by a mother and father who said their 10-year-old participates in football, martial arts and wrestling.
