SANDY, Utah -- Three days worth of fast cars and classic automobiles comes to an end Sunday as the 39th Annual Parts Plus Autoramawraps up in Sandy.

Autorama Event Chairman JC Hackett said the event, held at the South Towne Exposition Center, attracted people of all ages, especially as people sought to get out of the winter weather.

“Moms, dads, grandpas—they bring all the kids out, so there's something for everyone here,” he said.

The show began in Salt Lake City 39 years ago, and it has been popular among car enthusiasts. Classic cars fan Ron Maxwell said the show stacks up well against shows in other parts of the country.

“This show is as good as anything almost on the west coast,” he said.

Although parts of the show hit the road to display cars in other cities across the nation, 98 percent of the vehicles on display are either owned or housed in Utah.

The show began on Friday, and continues until Sunday at 7 p.m.
