PROVO, Utah – Sleek, savvy and modest—Brigham Young University students showcased their designs at a fashion show on Saturday.

All of the clothing seen at the show, held at Provo Towne Center, was the work of BYU students. Even though the school doesn’t have a fashion program, show director Karstin Lake said the show was beneficial for the students.

"There’s a lot of desire to do it at BYU, but obviously there's not a program in place,” she said. “I hope that by doing this show they'll see that people are still interested in fashion design and that it would be a valuable asset to BYU."

The show featured the work of five different designers on 30 different models.
