Honduran LDS temple opens to the public

SALT LAKE CITY – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has opened its new Honduran temple to the public.

The Tegucigalpa Honduras Temple is the LDS Church’s 141st temple to open and the sixth in Central America, with the others located in Guatemala City, Guatemala; San Jose, Costa Rica; Panama City, Panama; San Salvador, El Salvador; and Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

The temple will be officially dedicated by a member of the First Presidency of the Church on March 17.
