Suspect arrested for alleged credit union robbery

SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City police arrested a suspect tied to a credit union robbery.

Jessie Sherwood, 28, was taken into custody at a restaurant in south Salt Lake City on Monday afternoon after police were tipped off by an acquaintance of Sherwood’s.

Sherwood allegedly robbed the Granite Credit Union, located at 1283 East Zenith Ave., on January 24, 2013.
