OGDEN, Utah – Thousand of people paid respect to the men and women who have served in the United States military at the 7th annual Veterans Day Parade in Ogden.

Veterans of wars from World War II to the war in Afghanistan walked down Washington Boulevard on Saturday morning, some dressed in uniform, others wearing hats, pins and medals from their service for our country. Thousands of supporters lined the streets to thank the veterans.

“It means a lot. It means we’re doing our job and that people are supporting us and carrying on for us,” said Private First Class Braden Bischoff, who marched in his first Veterans Day Parade this year.

Saturday’s parade held special meaning; it’s been 237 years since the U.S. Marine Corps was established.
