3,600 plants seized in Washington Co. marijuana raid

BROWSE, Washington County, Utah – Federal, state and local officers raided a marijuana grow in Washington County on Friday.

About 3,600 marijuana plants were eradicated in the Browse area of Washington County, which sits about 17 miles northeast of St. George.

About 60 individuals from the Washington County Metro SWAT team, the US Drug Enforcement Agency, US Forest Service, US Bureau of Land Management, Utah Highway Patrol and Washington County Area Drug Task force assisted in the eradication, as well as the cleanup and removal of trash left at the site.
