SANDY - A 96-year-old Sandy man isn't letting age keep him from throwing strikes.
Adam Medill hits the bowling alleys in Sandy up to three times a week and, even at nearly 100 years old, he is averaging about 150 points a game.
"96 years young. You gotta say it that way," said Medill. "If my eyes don't go away, I'll be alright. A little arthritis, so what?"
Adam says he bowls to keep himself active, and suggests other people his age head out to the bowling alleys, as well.
"If I didn't come out bowling, I'd sit and be a couch potato," he said. "Get out on a league, no matter what you bowl...it makes no difference."
Adam says that by joining his bowling league, he's been able to make great friends and be active.
