A Utah National Guard recruiter has been arrested on suspicion of solicitation of a minor.

Richfield-based recruiter Sgt. 1st Class Wade Argyle was arrested last Friday and booked into the Sevier County Jail for allegedly soliciting a minor via text messages.

Argyle has been a full-time recruiter for the Utah Army National Guard for seven years.

The Utah National Guard has turned over Argyle's government issued computer and mobile phone to investigators.

Argyle has been placed on paid administrative leave until the investigation is over.
