OGDEN - Rescuers took a break from searching the Weber River for 4-year-old Corbin Anderson on Sunday, but the boy's family kept up the search.

Corbin was taking family photos last Saturday evening when he fell into the fast, cold water of the Weber River. His father jumped in after him, but was unable to catch Corbin.

Rescue crews from Davis and Weber Counties have spent the last week looking both underwater and above ground for Corbin's body, even diverting the river to lower the water level in hopes of finding the boy.

The river has been put back together and the Ogden community was allowed back in the area, but the search for Corbin continues. Family, friends and community members scoured the surface of the river on Sunday in hopes of finding his body.

"Even people who normally come and walk and ride up and down, they're always going to be searching, always," said one searcher. "We've walked the past three days up and down as far as we can go, we've been as far as the river can go, we've been out to Willard Bay, we've done everything."

It's unclear how long the search effort will continue along the river. Officials have said that they'll evaluate every day the resources they can devote to the search.
