The Jazz had lost seven straight games to Steve Nash and the Suns, a streak dating back to March 4, 2010. But they caught a break Monday night when Suns' Channing Frye was unable to play because of a right shoulder injury.
Gordan Hayward had a career high eight assists in the game and Paul Millsap had 26 points.
The Suns were able to tie up the game in the fourth quarter, but the Jazz took over from there. They had an 18 to four run that put them up by 13 points. That put the game away.
