LAYTON — A 17-year-old boy fell and broke his leg while hiking Tuesday afternoon.
Layton firefighters say the teen broke his right leg while hiking the upper falls area in Adams Canyon. Rescuers were alerted to his injury shortly before 6 p.m. and had him down within a few hours.
Rescuers say he is in fair condition when he was brought down to the trail head near Twin Peaks Lane. From there they transported him to the hospital.
