Utah added more than 30,000 jobs in the last year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Professional and business services created 6,000 new jobs. The education and healthcare sectors and the manufacturing sector each created 4,800 jobs. Trade and transportation added about 4,400.

In a statement, Governor Herbert said that, “we are on track to create 100,000 jobs in 1,000 days, but there are still about 76,000 Utahns who need a job, and I think about those families every day. We will not relent until every Utahn who wants a job can find a job.
